TobyQuitter.com is above all a people-driven web site, we do not have “the solution” for you who want to stop smoking, what we provide is support, information and an environment of like-minded people to help you stop smoking.
Can TobyQuitter.com help me stop smoking?
We believe that only you can make yourself stop smoking, preferably with the help of a healthcare professional, and the friends you can make on TobyQuitter.com.
If you are like most smokers who want to quit, you have spent years brainwashing yourself into becoming a “confirmed smoker”. TobyQuitter.com is the place where you can “unconfirm” that by becoming friends with other people who want to quit, read up on, and talk about, quitting smoking.
Who is Toby Quitter?
Toby Quitter is a fictive character, he is the “Tobacco Quitter” that should be in all of us. Another word play could be “To Be (a) Quitter,” that is pro active and that is what we are all about.
I have just signed up, what should I do next?
Set up your profile, you can do that by going to “Edit profile”, put in an extra effort with your Intro, this is where you present yourself to the other Quitters.
Write in your blog, it’s not a literary competition and you do not have to be an aspiring journalist. The blog is mainly there for you to write about your experiences as you stop smoking, but it can just as well be about some aspect of smoking, or stopping smoking, it’s your blog ;)
Check out the forum and participate in the discussions, or, why not, start your own topic. Again, this is your site and we want you to use it!
